Victorious on the court

We are incredibly proud of our Key Stage 3 Girls’ Badminton Team, who were victorious at the recent North West Leicestershire School Sports Partnership competition.

Competing against three other local schools – The Castle Rock School, Ashby School, and Ivanhoe – our talented team triumphed, recording three successive 5-0 victories and not losing a single match in the process.

Remarkably, and in keeping with our strong historic record in this tournament, this victory marks the fourth consecutive year our school has emerged triumphant.

The students demonstrated exceptional teamwork, resilience, practical ability, and fair play – epitomised by the fact they had to umpire their own matches.

Having won this competition, our students will now go on to represent North West Leicestershire in the County Rounds later this year. We wish them the best of luck and are confident they will continue to make us proud!
